Soft-Key Displays These are displays of menus that are accessed by pressing a soft-key directly below text (Menu Navigation) Soft Keys. If VIEW ZONES was selected, this screen appears allowing you ZONE to view the channels in the zone. On the receiving radio, the calling station name will appear in the activity area. INDIVIDUAL TO BE CALLED MAIN SCREEN To end call, use select END CALL. PRIORITY CHANNEL APPEARS WHEN KEYED MAIN SCREEN SELECT A NEW TALKGROUP A talkgroup is a group of radios that you would want to have private conversations with. These groups could be divided into areas such as state, region, county, or large special events. This is useful if you are out of range of a repeater or if a repeater is busy. Calls will now be made on the receive TALKAROUND frequency until you disable ENABLED talkaround mode. NOTE: For shortcut method of starting scan, refer to Start or Stop Scan (Shortcut Menu).
